Accessibility Statement
The 23rd District Attorney’s Office (“Office”) is committed to digital accessibility for everyone. We are constantly working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website.
What is Digital Accessibility?
Accessibility means that all people can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with electronic information. Visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities should be considered when implementing accessibility measures. The purpose of accessibility is to remove barriers and provide equal opportunities for everyone.
Conformance
The Office’s ongoing accessibility efforts align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
Additionally, in accordance with 8 CCR 1501-11, Rule 11.5, the Office is publishing its Accessibility Plan, which will be updated annually.
